About
I am a photographer and a proud father of two beautiful girls based in Sydney, Australia.
When I was seven, I found a few copies of National Geographic magazines from my grandfather's archives. I spent hours scrolling back and forth through the magazine pages, entirely consumed by the photographs and the power of visual storytelling. Since then, I have been fascinated by still photography and the ability to stop time in its tracks and create lasting memories of people and events. I still read National Geographic to this day.
My first camera was an Olympus MD3 point-and-shoot film camera, which I used for family and school trips throughout my childhood. After saving enough money in college, I finally purchased my first SLR film camera, a Nikon F80. Not long after that, the photography world shifted towards digital, as did I.
While completing my undergraduate degree (not photography), I took an Introduction to Film Photography course at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver, Canada. This short course taught me the foundation of film photography, how to develop negatives in a dark room and an introduction to the different genres in photography. Everything I have learned has been from experimenting with my camera and trying new techniques, mostly through trial and error.
I dabble in many things, from landscape to event to automotive photography and anything in between.
I am not much of a writer, so I let the photos tell the story, and I hope you enjoy this visual journey as much as I do.
